David Henderson

David graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1970 with a teaching degree.   He taught and coached track at the junior high level for several years before leaving to pursue employment with the National Education Association.  In 1985, he achieved his Real Estate Sales License and became a member of the Colorado Springs Board of REALTORS, where he worked in residential sales.

After leaving his work at the NEA in the late 90s, David transferred his organizing, training and facilitation skills to work in a new career of Community Management.  After a few years at an Arizona management company he left to start his own company, Red Mountain Management, in 2004.  The company was successful and, after 16 years, Red Mountain and Ogden merged in 2020.

He continues his community management work as an Ogden employee, where he currently manages a portfolio of single-family homes and condominiums.   He also manages the design review process for custom home development in four Ogden-managed communities.

David enjoys reading, playing golf and spending time with significant other, Isabel and their children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Now that he no longer has the responsibility of owning a company, he is planning to spend some freed-up weekend time on the golf course, watching baseball and traveling when the Covid 19 restrictions are no longer an impediment.
